About Me

I am a digital artist, art lead, and researcher driven by a singular question: How can we codify the fluid, fast-moving practices of digital art production into rigorous, repeatable academic frameworks?

My journey began in fine arts, where I graduated as a Gold Medalist with a B.F.A in Communication Design and later earned the Roll of Honor for my M.F.A in Multimedia Design from LCWU. These foundational years instilled in me a deep reverence for design theory, color psychology, and structural anatomy. However, I knew that to truly understand the modern creative landscape, I needed to test these theories in the crucible of high-stakes industrial production.

Over the past 9 years, I have immersed myself in the digital art and gaming industries, scaling pipelines and leading diverse creative teams. As an Art Lead, my responsibilities shifted from creating individual assets to architecting entire production ecosystems. I managed asset pipelines for massive, globally recognized titles—such as Scary Teacher—where I successfully balanced artistic vision against strict engine optimization, hardware limitations, and high-velocity content schedules.

Navigating these industrial challenges revealed a profound gap between commercial execution and academic literature. The rapid evolution of real-time rendering, 3D modular kits, and UI/UX paradigms demands systematic investigation, not just execution.

This realization marks my transition into a dedicated research candidate. I do not view my years in the industry as separate from my academic aspirations, but rather as the foundational data set for my future research. My goal is to bridge these two worlds—bringing empirical, battle-tested industry insights into the academic space to engineer sophisticated visual solutions and pedagogical workflows for the next generation of digital artists.
